5S for Productivity Improvement Training & Consultancy

Our 5S for Productivity Improvement training and consultancy focusses on delivering a safer and more effective operating environment through the optimisation of equipment, material and people layout combined with the development of optimum working methods to deliver measurable and sustainable productivity improvements.

Our 5S training is ordinarily delivered over a single day, although we can deliver longer programmes and implementation support. We provide public, virtual and in-house training courses.

The 5S course will equip employees with the skills and knowledge required to facilitate sustainable 5S implementation. Where possible the programme will involve going out into the work areas where 5S is to be deployed and generating ideas on how the tools and techniques taught could be implemented. The training ends day with the development of an action plan for next steps. ‘Certificates of Attendance’ are provided on completion of training and ‘Certificates of Competence’ can be awarded after evidencing success in 5S implementation.

Your Trainer/Consultant

Gavin holds a BEng Mechanical Engineering, an MPhil Masters Degree relating to ‘Maximising Yield through the application of Lean Six Sigma’ and a NVQ Level 4 in Management. He is a seasoned Operations Manager/Director with over 20 years of experience in training and consulting in 5S to drive productivity improvements in manufacturing, warehousing and service environments. He is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds the Level 3 Award in Education and Training which certifies his competence as a trainer.
